The challenge in this project was to reorganize the space plan… replace the traditional area and cramped peninsula with a new, clean-lined, deluxe kitchen with an approachable island [complete with a multi-dimensional leg for added interest.] The flow and function improved instantly! The clutter was removed, and all mini appliances are now luxuriously stored for easy use.
The architectural feel of the space improved with redesigned soffits and impactful, generous lighting overall.
Unique, soft-finish, textured laminate cabinetry in “Greige” surrounds Light Walnut extra-wide drawers on the back wall… to compliment this color scheme, the designer chose Multi-blue wallpaper and paint to mimic the blues of the sea that surround the entire room.. [and also offer a happy detail.]
The owners collect art, so the design and cabinetry had to blend in softly with the wide array of fine art and the outrageous light fixtures.
The opulent marble backsplash sits center stage showcasing pure sophistication of the space. …Into the next room we discover a chic and functional laundry room where the homeowners now actually look forward to laundry detail!
